The question everyone asks

Can you reach it?

Usually, yes. Most jobs are loaded from the side as we pull up alongside — the lorry rarely needs to back onto a drive or lawn. Here is what 6.5 metres of reach actually looks like, from the side and from the front.

Reaching forward — side view

wall soil & concrete 6.5 m reach
Over a wall, hedge or fence line, without coming onto the plot.

Reaching sideways — front view

Parked at the kerb, arm swung out — no reversing onto the drive needed.
Loads we handle

What goes in the lorry

If it came out of the ground or off a building, we will almost certainly take it. Mixed loads are fine — we sort at the transfer station.

Soil & subsoil

Garden digs, foundations, driveway excavations and landscaping strip-outs.

Hardcore & concrete

Broken slabs, brick, block, old patios, crushed concrete and tarmac planings.

Muck away

Groundworks and basement digs cleared as fast as you can fill the pile.

Aggregate delivery

Quarried, recycled, Type 1, 6F5, dust, topsoil and many more. Tipped or grabbed off exactly where you need it.

Grab or skip?

Skips win for small, slow jobs you fill over a fortnight. For anything past a couple of tonnes a grab is usually cheaper and faster — and you are not the one doing the shovelling.

How a booking works

Coverage

Where we run

Bristol and everything inside roughly 25 miles. If you are not on the list, ask anyway — we probably still reach you.

Before you call

Questions we get daily

How much does grab hire cost in Bristol?

It depends what is in the load and how far the nearest licensed tip is, but a typical 12-tonne load in and around Bristol starts from £250 plus VAT — £300 all in. Ring us with a postcode and you will have a firm number inside a minute.

Do I need a permit?

Almost never. The lorry loads from the road and leaves, so nothing is left standing on the highway. If access is unusually tight we will flag it before booking you in.

How quickly can you collect?

Same day is often possible if you catch us early, and next day is standard. We start from 7am for site work.

Can you reach round the back of my house?

With 6.5 metres of reach we work over most walls, hedges and fences without coming onto the property. Send a photo of the access from the road and we will confirm before you commit to anything.

Do you deliver aggregates too?

Yes. We will often take your muck away and come back with Type 1 or topsoil on the same visit, which saves you a separate delivery charge.

Are you licensed?

We are a registered waste carrier (CBDU542944) and every load is tipped at a licensed facility. Your waste transfer note is emailed the same day.
